Data, purposes and legal bases
- Technical browsing data. Requests to this site may involve Cloudflare hosting processing IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser/device information and request outcome. Purposes: deliver the site, protect security and diagnose errors. Legal basis: legitimate interest in site security and availability. Cloudflare states that some end-user activity logs are retained for 7 days by default, but retention varies by product and configuration; confirm the actual setting for this service (Cloudflare reference).
- Email enquiries. The contact button opens the visitor’s email application; the site has no submission form. If you email info@zixdesign.com, ZIX Design processes your email address and message to reply and, if requested, take pre-contractual steps. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps requested by the individual. Providing details is optional, but a reply is not possible without contact details. Enquiries that do not become a client relationship are deleted within 24 months of the last contact, unless retention is required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Language preference. Each language has its own web address. Selecting a language opens that version of the site; this choice is not used for profiling.
There are currently no web forms, accounts, profiling or automated decisions.
Recipients and transfers
Cloudflare Pages hosts the static files and may process technical request metadata (such as IP address, timestamps and URLs) for delivery and security. This site has no Pages Functions configured. Cloudflare states that network data may be processed in its data centers in the United States and Europe. Cloudflare states that some end-user activity logs are retained for 7 days by default; actual retention depends on datasets and account settings. Cloudflare processes metadata in the United States and Europe and provides a DPA and contractual safeguards for applicable transfers. The info@zixdesign.com mailbox is provided through Apple iCloud Mail; Apple may process email content and metadata to deliver the service and some of its features. Apple states that international transfers of personal data collected in the EEA are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses. The controller keeps enquiries for the period stated above and must also delete them from deleted items.

Cookies and similar technologies
The site source code does not set analytics or marketing cookies and does not integrate Google Ads, maps, videos or external widgets. The selected language is reflected in the page URL. Cloudflare may apply technical security cookies depending on project settings; verify which are active on the published site. No non-essential tracking is active, so the current code does not require a consent banner. Before adding Google Ads or other non-essential tracking, the site must be updated: notice, prior blocking and a way to accept, reject or withdraw consent.

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and where applicable object to processing or withdraw consent. Send requests to info@zixdesign.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
